Naaaah, never! I pay close attention to canon and at the end of the day, everything comes back to it (as a roleplayer, I kind of rely heavily on canon to base characterization off of, and what canon says goes in a setting where you’re interacting with others) but fandom is supposed to be fun, shipping is supposed to be fun, and it doesn’t have to make sense. So long as you respect others’ space and let them have the same fun you’re having, it’s all good.
